Toothed roll crusher, also known as double toothed roll crusher, is mechanical equipment designed for crushing medium and low hardness brittle materials. It is widely used in coal mining, ore processing, metallurgy, aggregate plants and coal preparation plants. It crushes materials such as coal, coke and coal gangue by shear force generated through reverse rotation of double or four toothed rolls. This machine features large crushing ratio, uniform finished particle size and low over-crushing rate.

Working Principle

A toothed roll crusher consists of rollers, roller bearings, a pressing device, an adjusting device, and a drive device.

The material is drawn into the gap between the rollers by the rotating motion of the rollers and the friction angle (called the meshing angle) formed between the rollers and the material. As the two rollers rotate, they compress the material into an increasingly smaller gap area, where it is crushed under the compressive force generated by the rotating rollers.
